The NBA is one of the most competitive sports leagues in the world. Just getting drafted into the league is a huge accomplishment, but playing in it for several years is even more difficult. There are different roles for different players in the NBA, and each of them has some importance in its own way.
Although the starting five of any NBA franchise gets the most respect from fans, the sixth man is also equally important for a team to be truly successful in the league. Over the years, many players have donned that role for several teams, but only a handful of players have truly made a name while doing so. The likes of Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams are two of the recent players who were truly phenomenal as sixth men.
Jamal Crawford And Lou Williams Aren’t Happy With The NBA’s New Decision
For a long time, the NBA has been using the same trophies to honor players for their amazing performances throughout the year. Well, the league has finally decided to shake things up and introduce brand new trophies for the honors. The most notable among those changes is using Michael Jordan as the MVP trophy.
However, the thing that didn’t sit well with Crawford and Williams was the sixth man of the year trophy being renamed after John Havlicek.
Since we’re naming things, let’s make Kobe the new logo. Thanks in advance‼️

Talk that talk king!!!!
Looking at these tweets by the two players, it initially began with Jamal Crawford urging the NBA to change the logo after the late great Kobe Bryant. However, Lou Williams hinted at being disappointed with John Havlicek being the inspiration behind the sixth man of the year trophy.
Crawford didn’t back down and further encouraged Williams to talk about the topic. Well, it certainly feels like both are pissed off at the league after getting snubbed. Maybe that will change in the future, but there is no surety of that happening anytime soon.
