Jayson Tatum has been in the midst of a magical season as he has done a masterful job of leading the Boston Celtics. There were some question marks surrounding the Celtics after the team suspended Ime Udoka, but Tatum has ensured they haven’t missed him a whole lot.

He, along with Jaylen Brown, had taken the Celtics to the top of the standings, as they had the best record in the NBA leading into the NBA Finals rematch against the Golden State Warriors. Tatum and the Celtics had already demolished Devin Booker and the Suns in Phoenix just a few days earlier, but the Warriors proved to be a much tougher challenge, as they won 123-107. They played some excellent defense on Tatum, in particular, as he scored just 18 points on 6-21 shooting from the field. Fans roasted Tatum for this stinker as he continues to struggle against the Warriors.

“This they mvp “

“On lock “

“PTSD”

“this is without wiggins btw”

“Could be what’s to come, during the playoffs”

“He’s soft against physical defenders”

“this is your MVP? please”

“Warriors are just blitzing Tatum to throw him off is up to Tatum to slow it down and wait until they commit fully to pass or keep it when they run back!!!”

“Tatum doing what he does best against Warriors. “

“Tatum is overrated”

“Tatum become a fool when he plays the warriors smh”

“And it would’ve been worse for Tatum if Wiggins was playing”

“It’s ok he’s only 19, he’s going to learn from this and mature”

“Eye test don’t lie.”

“As they did in the finals. Clearly, the Celtics and Tatum didn’t learn.”

“some very unserious ball being played”

“be shaking in his boots when Jordan Poole guarding him.”

We are sure that Tatum will bounce back from this and continue to dominate this season. He was regarded by many as the MVP favorite prior to this game, and while this loss would hurt his case a bit, it shouldn’t be too big of a blow.

The Warriors Make A Statement With Dominant Showing

The story from this game is definitely how good the Warriors were. There were so many question marks surrounding them after their disastrous start to the season, but they have shown they can rise to the occasion as they did here.

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were magical, as they both scored over 30 points. They are once again looking like the best backcourt in the league, something that would have been unimaginable considering how bad Klay was to start the season. He deserves a lot of credit for improving as time has gone by, and the Warriors deserve praise for sticking with him when there were many calling for him to be benched.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
