The basketball shoe market has so many big players, and one of the newer entrants is New Balance. The brand had somewhat stepped away from the NBA world for a while as they didn’t sign any notable players after James Worthy in the 1980s, but that changed a couple of years back.

In 2018, they managed to sign Kawhi Leonard, who was leaving Nike’s Jordan brand and ever since then, they have been expanding in the NBA market. They have also managed to rope in the likes of Jamal Murray and Zach LaVine, to go with some other stars, and they are looking to expand even further.

“Hot take: For a couple years now New Balance been making doper sneakers than any other shoe brand”

“nah that intro with Kawhi was COLD”

“Kawhi really looking stacked”

“New balance really tryna make a statement. They signed some real talent.”

“Ok new balance got sum names”

“Best commercial they dropped”

“Nah Kawhi is him”

“The way they had Kawhi come in like the final boss was dope”

“need a Jamal shoe ASAP”

“TOUGH “

“Let’s go the Fun Guy is back baby! “

“This is better than some movies I’ve seen.”

“NB upped their athlete game “

“Kawhi really left Jordan brand, and put new balance on the map. Legend.”

“This was fire. Of course the big dog has a special entrance “

“Breaking news, this commercial is absolute heat.”

“Okay, New Balance! So they were serious when they said they would attempt to enter basketball sneaker culture.”

“the true shoe brand”

“As long as Kawhi is in it, it’s an automatic 10/10”

“Yeah need these for my next hoop shoe.”

That was an epic entrance by Kawhi at the end there, and New Balance is really stepping up their game. This upcoming season is also a big one for Leonard, as he comes back from an ACL injury, and he says he feels stronger than ever.

The Clippers forward staying healthy is vital for the Los Angeles Clippers as they look for a return to the playoffs, and they are more than capable of winning it all if he stays upright. Kawhi was the first player to win Finals MVP wearing New Balance since James Worthy, and he’ll be hoping to do it again in 2023.
