We don’t often see a young star like Donovan Mitchell get moved, but the writing was certainly on the wall for that move to happen. The Utah Jazz ended up trading Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the offseason, and it was only a matter of time before the Utah Jazz ended up moving their other star player to start a new era for the franchise.
The Utah Jazz will now have a young player that could potentially become a true star for the franchise in the future.
