Deandre Ayton is a top-tier center that provides an impact on both ends of the floor. There’s no doubt that he’s a player that most franchises would love to have on their roster.
Recently, it was revealed that Deandre Ayton had signed an offer sheet with the Indiana Pacers. Since he was a restricted free agent, the Phoenix Suns got an opportunity to match the contract. It seems as though they have officially done so, and Deandre Ayton will be remaining with the Phoenix Suns.

The Phoenix Suns notably made the NBA Finals in the 2021 playoffs, and Deandre Ayton was a key part of that happening. They failed to make it past the second round in the 2022 playoffs, but perhaps they will be able to do so next year.
Deandre Ayton’s development will be key for the Phoenix Suns, and we’ll see if he is able to continuously be dominant on the court going forward. The key with Deandre Ayton will be showing consistency in being a top-tier center, and if he manages to improve, the Phoenix Suns could be a good team for years to come.
