Donovan Mitchell is an extremely talented player, and there is no doubt that he is a difference-maker for any franchise. There has long been speculation about him potentially getting traded, and it seems as though that possibility is becoming more likely.
Adrian Wojnarowski has recently revealed that the Utah Jazz are willing to listen to trade offers for Donovan Mitchell. There Utah Jazz notably traded Rudy Gobert already, and it seems as though they’re willing to go through a full-scale rebuild.
After previously shutting down inquiries on moving All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell, rival teams say the Utah Jazz are showing a willingness to listen on possible trade scenarios, sources tell ESPN.
The asking price appears to be steep, but in the wake of Utah’s recent Rudy Gobert blockbuster deal to Minnesota, the Jazz are no longer simply dismissing calls on Mitchell, sources said.
A team that Donovan Mitchell has been frequently linked to is the Miami Heat. Notably, Heat legend Dwyane Wade is a part-owner of the Utah Jazz. A recent video showed Dwyane Wade responding affirmatively to a fan when asked if he was bringing Donovan Mitchell over to the Heat.
“DWade, you gonna bring Donovan to Miami?”
“Yeah” 😭😭 (via @lmaotaa) https://t.co/7QXVJXRNwr

Fan: DWade, you going to bring Donovan to Miami?
Dwyane Wade: Yeah.
It was notably reported that the Miami Heat have already submitted a trade offer for Donovan Mitchell, but the Utah Jazz found it insufficient. Perhaps we will see the Heat return later on with a better trade package that will entice the Jazz, and it is certainly a situation worth monitoring.
There are other teams who will be trying to acquire Donovan Mitchell from the Utah Jazz, most notably the New York Knicks. We will see where Mitchell ends up going, but it definitely looks as though he could end up on a different team if the Jazz get a good offer.
