Andrew Wiggins Was Touched By Michael Bolton’s Song ‘How Am I Supposed To Live Without You’: “I Like This Song More”

The Golden State Warriors are the talk of the town in the NBA right now, and rightly so. Winning their 4th title in 8 years, Dubs fans are understandably ecstatic, and the Warriors players are getting their praises as well.

While the evergreen trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have dominated the headlines for their incredible showing, another player stood out in the post-season as well, Andrew Wiggins. Wigs, who started off as the first pick in the 2014 NBA draft, was dubbed ‘Maple Jordan’ for his athleticism and the level of skill he had showcased in college.

But mediocrity followed the Canadian as he somewhat did not live up to the sky-high expectations of the media and critics in Minnesota. Shockingly though, the Warriors took a chance on him. While the initial trade looked fine on paper, the franchise reaped its patience’s rewards in the 2022 playoffs as Wiggins became one of the best two-way players in the league.

After Wiggins won his first-ever championship, Warriors fans have been head over heels on the 27-year-old, and recently a viral clip of the All-Star starter is making rounds on the internet.

In a video back in his days as a Timberwolf, Wiggins is caught listening to Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘XO Tour Llif3’ and Michael Bolton’s ‘How Am I Supposed To Live Without You’. The video has gone viral. While the Canadian said that he was familiar with the Lil Uzi Vert song, he had a great reaction when Michael Bolton’s hit number popped up as he said, “I like this song more.”

While Wiggins did spend about 5 and a half seasons with Minnesota, things never worked out for both the parties. Averages of 19.7 points, 2.3 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game might be good on paper, but 2015 Rookie of the Year never really fit with the franchise and really flourished as a two-way talent.

But it seems like Wiggins has found his home with the Warriors, making his name as a versatile two-way talent. With him able to thrive as a two-way force and not being forced into scoring the basketball inefficiently, both the Dubs and Wiggins have profited from the move.
