The Boston Celtics have recently defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 3, with a final score of 116-100. There’s no doubt that this was a resounding win for them, even if they did trail for a little bit in the third quarter after an insane Warriors run.

Many NBA fans reacted to the Boston Celtics’ win, with many lauding Jayson Tatum’s performance. They are now 2 wins away from winning the NBA Finals, which would mark their first championship win since the 2008 season.

It remains to be seen if the Golden State Warriors are able to come back and even up the series. Ideally, they’ll win Game 4 in Boston, as being forced to come back from a 3-1 deficit is not ideal. They have managed to complete a comeback from 3-1 down before, though, in 2016 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Despite the fact that Stephen Curry managed to put up 31 points, that was not enough for the Golden State Warriors to win this game. The Boston Celtics were simply elite defensively in Game 3, and when one combines it with their hot shooting, it was hard to see them lose this game.

This series has the potential to go the full 7 games, and there’s no doubt that the Boston Celtics will need to continue playing elite defense while making timely shots to win this series. The Golden State Warriors are an experienced team with championship experience, and they still have a decent shot of winning this series.
