ESPN’s NBA Today has become, in a short time, one of the most entertaining NBA shows out there. After the giant multimedia company was involved in certain controversies regarding old talent, they are now in a good place again, showing new faces and bringing fresh ideas to fans.
Malika Andrews leads a team that never disappoints and puts up entertaining segments every now and then. The most recurrent faces of the show are Richard Jefferson, Kendrick Perkins, and Los Angeles Sparks’ Chiney Ogwumike. They also feature other high-profile names like Matt Barnes, JJ Redick, Adrian Wojnarowski and more.
The starting lineup, however, consisted of the first four mentioned. Andrews and the rest of the crew have big chemistry and don’t even hesitate to play games with one another. During a recent edition of the show, Malika and Richard Jefferson starred in yet another hilarious moment when they exchanged pies in their faces.
With Kendrick Perkins laughing in the back, Chiney hyping up the situation and Andrews and Jefferson doubting if they should go for it, we saw a very fun video of these two going at it.
Of course, fans had a lot to say about this, showing their surprise that they actually pulled this off on live TV.

It was a great moment for these two and the NBA community really enjoyed it. This doesn’t happen every day, but we can assure you you’ll have a lot of fun watching these guys doing their thing. Whether it is with debates, calling out each other or anything else, you’ll never be disappointed. RJ is one of the funniest guys out there, Malika is gorgeous and incredibly smart, Chiney knows the game very well and Perkins is Perkins, sometimes he gets things right, sometimes he doesn’t, but he always carries on.
