The trade season continues and another active team keeps making moves ahead of the 2022 deadline. The Indiana Pacers already dealt Caris LeVert to the Cleveland Cavaliers and now are parting ways with one of their best players.

Just like LeVert, Myles Turner and Domantas Sabonis were expected to leave the squad before the trade deadline strikes. After LeVert found his way to Cleveland, now Sabonis is headed to the West Coast to join the Sacramento Kings.

The Lithuanian-American player was linked with many teams, including the Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, and Washington Wizards. However, the Kings pulled the trigger on this move, sending a 3-man package to Indiana in return.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the big man is headed to Sacramento in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson.

This is an interesting trade for the Pacers, who add one promising guard in Haliburton, a proven shooter in Hield, and a veteran in Thompson. As for the Kings, they receive one of the most versatile big men in the game in Sabonis and two solid veterans in Lamb and Holiday.

The Kings seemingly are ready to keep building around De’Aaron Fox, parting ways with one of their best players, Haliburton. This trade isn’t one-sided, and both squads can benefit a lot from this move. Would it be enough for one of them to make the playoffs? We have to wait and sit.
