Just being in the NBA is a huge achievement for any athlete out there. The NBA is not only the most popular basketball league in the world but arguably the most difficult as well. As far as the popularity of the league is concerned, the credit goes to the sensational players who have played in it over the years.

Players like Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, or Kobe Bryant are some of the most popular on the list. So not only for fans but even NBA players, it is an honor to meet them. On top of that, if you get to play with them, it is an even bigger honor.

One such player who has shared the court with many big names is Tyronn Lue. Ty Lue is usually known for his coaching abilities as he was at the helm when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Championship. It might be the most glorious moment of Lue’s coaching career.

When we take into account his playing career, the former NBA player was part of the Los Angeles Lakers and won two rings with them. Apart from that, Lue has played with many great players throughout his career. Instagram page “Orion Basketball” made a post featuring Ty Lue’s five best teammates.

The team features Michael Jordan (G), Kobe Bryant (G), Tracy McGrady (F), Dirk Nowitzki (F), Shaquille O’Neal (C). Now, that’s an amazing starting five and there might be only a few teams who might even think of going head to head with this team.

Anyway, let’s shed some light on when did Lue shared the court with these amazing players. Starting things off with, his time in Los Angeles.

During that time Lue had just begun his career in the NBA and was only there to fill a roster spot. Regardless, he shared the court with the dynamic duo of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal during his time as a Los Angeles Lakers player. Unfortunately, Lue made headlines for getting stepped over by Allen Iverson rather than anything else.

After his stint with the Lakers, Ty Lue shared the court with none other than “His Airness” Michael Jordan. However, by that time, Jordan was out of his prime and nothing huge happened for Tyronn in the two years that he played for the Washington Wizards.

The next destination for Lue was the Orlando Magic, where he shared the locker room with a young superstar in the making Tracy McGrady. Similar to his time in Washington, Lue didn’t win anything when he spent just one season with the Magic.

Last but definitely not least, the current head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers briefly played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2007-08 NBA season. He retired from the league in the next season.

While he didn’t win many accolades in his career, he must cherish the memories that he made while playing for such amazing players.
