Klay Thompson is the starting shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors, and he is recognized for doing just that, aka shooting. There’s no doubt that he has had some elite shooting performances in the past, and it’s absolutely crazy that there are games where he is absolutely unstoppable due to how hot he is from the 3PT range.

Reddit user LennardOz has recently revealed that Klay Thompson is now No. 2 in all-time 3PT field goals in the Finals, after making 5 3PT shots in Game 5. Klay Thompson surpassed superstar LeBron James for the achievement.

With5 3-Pointers made in last nights game, Klay Thompson passes Lebron and claims the #2 spot for all time 3-pt FG in the Finals.

Most 3-Pointers in Finals History

Steph Curry – 146 Klay Thompson – 104 LeBron James – 101

There is no doubt that this is a good benchmark for Klay Thompson. It is good to see that he is back to the Finals and performing at a high level, and the Golden State Warriors will need him to continue to be elite from the 3PT range if they are to close out the Boston Celtics in Game 6.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young has recently predicted that Klay Thompson will explode for 50 points in Game 6, and there’s no doubt that Klay Thompson has done that in games in the past. The Golden State Warriors have struggled at times offensively during the NBA Finals, and if Klay Thompson has an elite scoring night in Game 6, that will definitely help them in that department.

Hopefully, we see Klay Thompson show out in Game 6 and a potential Game 7. The Golden State Warriors have missed him during his absence with injuries, and it’s good to see him back in the playoffs and performing well.
