The NBA Finals are going on and it’s arguably the most intense time of the season, with both the teams that have made it trying desperately to win and clinch the championship. The Warriors and Celtics are currently knotted at 1-1 with the series going back to Boston, and while things were amicable between the two teams before the series began, it has quickly become quite testy.

Draymond Green, someone who often gets under the skin of his opponents, has successfully managed to rile up the Celtics, with some of his antics leaving the fans in shambles and Celtics players like Jaylen Brown a little ticked off. While Head Coach Ime Udoka spoke about the Celtics not focusing too much on Green, Al Horford’s sister, Anna Horford, took to Twitter to call the Warriors out in pretty harsh terms.

If Draymond can’t outplay an opponent, he simply resorts to playing dirty 🤮

“If Draymond can’t outplay an opponent, he simply resorts to playing dirty.”

Green got a technical foul during the game against the Celtics but didn’t end up getting his 2nd even though many felt that his behavior warranted one. Draymond as a player does everything he can to mess with the opponent’s rhythm and it paid off for the Warriors in Game 2 of the series, as they capitalized on turnovers from the Celtics and blew them out during an intense 3rd quarter.

The C’s won’t be too worried, the team is headed back home for Games 3 and 4, and they will be hoping that they can gain an advantage in the series once again. If their role players can continue to make shots, there’s not much even Draymond Green might be able to do to stop them.

As for Green, this is surely not the last we’ve heard said about him in this series. He has a knack for being in the thick of things, something that is a part of what makes him so indispensable to a winning culture. If he can keep up his impactful play, the team will be hard to beat, even for a talented and well-drilled unit like the Celtics.
