Andrew Wiggins is a forward that is currently a member of the Golden State Warriors. Wiggins has been very good during his time with the Warriors, and he got his first All-Star selection this season. He is well-known as a solid two-way player that can do a little bit of everything on offense while also guarding the No. 1 offensive option on the opposing team. Currently, Andrew Wiggins is putting up 17.6 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 2.1 APG, while shooting 40.8% from beyond the arc.
The Golden State Warriors are a team that is contending for the championship currently, and there are even people who have made them their pick to win it all. That is a very different environment than what Andrew Wiggins was used to during his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as the team only made the playoff once during his time there.
Andrew Wiggins was recently asked about playing for a championship. The forward candidly claimed that the thought of winning a championship “keeps you wanting to come back to work” every single day.

There is no question that Andrew Wiggins has been crucial to the Golden State Warriors’ success this season. He is the 2nd leading scorer on the Golden State Warriors and their 2nd best defender after Draymond Green. Andrew Wiggins may not be a superstar, but he is a fantastic supplementary player for the Warriors. The Warriors will need his two-way contributions if they want to advance far in the playoffs.
Over the last few Warriors games, Andrew Wiggins has been struggling with his scoring. He is only putting up 14.7 PPG over the last 10 games and shooting 52.4% from the FT line. Hopefully, Andrew Wiggins will start scoring more in the future, and there’s no doubt the Warriors need him to do well on the offensive end to be successful.
