Whenever an NBA player releases their new signature shoes, everybody pays attention to that. This isn’t anything new in the association, but some releases really capture the attention of fans.

Last week, Ja Morant finally premiered the Ja 1 with the help of his daughter Kaari, giving Nike another shoe line after they ended their relationship with the controversial Kyrie Irving due to his most recent scandal. Now Ja has his signature show, joining a list of players who have had this honor too.

This new pair of shoes presented a big question among basketball fans and sneakerheads. In the past 30 years, we’ve had big sneaker debuts with Nike, and some people decided to pick the best one among the most interesting.

NBA Fans Pick Their Favorite Nike Debut Signature Shoes

Inspired by a post by NBA Memes on Twitter, Instagram page Sway asked fans about the best signature shoe debut with Nike. They wanted to know the top 3 of everybody, and fans didn’t disappoint.

The sneaker world has become a huge competition for players too, but it’s also a great opportunity for them to let people know a little bit more about themselves. There’s always a special edition of the shoes that is closer to the players, like Zion Williamson’s Naruto edition or Giannis Antetokounmpo embracing his NBA journey with each of his shoes.

Fans do love to see and buy these shoes, which is why this is always an interesting comparison. Nike has the best lineup in the game of basketball right now, and that won’t change anytime soon. Ja’s new shoes are here to stay, and we can’t wait to see who is the next one to join him on this list.
