Blake Griffin On Kevin Durant: “I Have Never Seen A Player Be Less Affected By Somebody Than Kevin Durant.”

Kevin Wayne Durant has solidified himself as one of the best players in basketball. Through 13 seasons in the league, the 27-point-per-game scorer is an 11x All-Star, 4x Scoring Champion, and 9x All-NBA player.

And while we’ve all grown accustomed to Durant’s theatrics now, it can still be rather shocking to hear the glowing compliments he receives from his own peers.

In a recent appearance on “The Old Man & The Three,” Blake Griffin shared some words regarding his teammate, raving about his talent on the offensive end:

“It’s not really like the spin moves or the tough shots, that’s all tough, but he is just so unaffected by any defender, I have never seen a player be less affected by somebody than Kevin Durant.”

Griffin isn’t the only one to rave about Durant’s talent. Not too long ago, Kendrick Perkins went so far as to call KD the best player in the league.

“Here’s the thing… Kevin Durant IS the best player in the world and it’s about damn time somebody dethrone King James from being the best player in the world,” Perkins said to Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Bally Sports.

“We’re talking about a guy that’s going on Year 19. I don’t really know if LeBron James even cares about being the best player in the world anymore, going on at the age of 37, right? So, it’s about time that somebody finally stepped up to the plate and dethrone him because he’s been carrying the torch for so long.”

When it comes to putting the ball through the net, there aren’t many who are better than KD. He can score inside, outside, in the post, and in pretty much every way imaginable.

But Durant has much bigger things to worry about right now anyway.

After being bounced in the second round this past season, Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets need to make amends. We’ll see soon enough if they can pull it off.
