Brandon Jennings Takes A Shot At LeBron James And Chris Paul, Accuses Them Of Turning The NBA Into A “Player’s League”

2 Min Read

Brandon Jennings is making the rounds on social media right now after going off on NBA players, criticizing them for not taking their job seriously and the ‘lack of love’ for the game he’s witnessed recently. The former Milwaukee Bucks star is tired of all that and recently went off on Twitter, criticizing players for not honoring the game and the fans.

Load management has been a recurrent and controversial topic around the league in recent years, and Jennings gave his two pennies on that in the last 24 hours. The point guard started by saying the NBA needs to change the rules before going further and attacking those who make the association a ‘players league’.

He even mentioned LeBron James and Chris Paul as responsible for turning the league into what it is today, which could hurt the next generation of stars.

Many people have shown their concern about the current state of the NBA. Players seem to have too much power, and they force trades to specific teams, leave their teams hanging, and more, not honoring their contracts and acting like they’re entitled to everything they ask for.

This has been more visible in recent years, and many folks believe the owners will have and are thinking of making big changes in the next CBA to prevent all these things. It’s odd to see a former player going after the stars of the league, but it seems like Jennings has seen enough.

LeBron James and Chris Paul indeed hold a lot of power in the league right now, given their connections and roles within the league. Still, to put the blame on them is a little too much.

In the end, Jennings just asked for balance between owners and players, saying that the people who should get the most benefits are fans. Without them, there wouldn’t be any NBA, and that’s something everybody must understand.
