Brandon Ingram of the New Orleans Pelicans has been won the 2020 Most Improved Player of the year award after a marvelous season with the Pels. Ingram was a finalist with Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic and Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo.
Ingram improved his game during his first season in New Orleans after a complex stint with the Lakers. The 22-year-old was a key piece for the Pelicans to have a shot at the playoffs before and during the bubble.

He finished the season averaging 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game this season while shooting 46.3% from the field and 39.1% from deep. Last season, he posted 18.3 PPG, 5.1 RPG and 3 APG.
His future in the league is bright and the Pelicans watch him as a key figure for their future. This is the first of many awards he could collect in his career. Ingram left a very good impression this year and this is only the beginning for him.
