Breaking: Evan Fournier Traded To Boston For Two Second-Round Picks

1 Min Read

The Boston Celtics are getting an upgrade on their roster with Evan Fournier, one of the most reliable swingmen in the league for a couple of years now. The Frenchman, just like Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon, was linked with a move away from the team in recent weeks and now he’s leaving the Floridian franchise to join the C’s, who are trying to boost their level ahead of the playoffs.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the C’s are sending two second-rounders in exchange for the player, which is a very good move for them.

Just when teams started distrusting Boston for all their failed trades, they pulled off a big move with Fournier, who will bring a lot of value to the team. He’s averaging 19.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists this campaign.

They didn’t have to do much to get Fournier and this won’t probably be the only move they make before the deadline strikes.
