It’s not a secret that LeBron James has been one of the faces of the NBA since entering the league in 2003. Moreover, he’s been all over the world thanks to his multiple endorsement deals and all the products he advertises.

James has been one of the most iconic figures in sports for decades, so it’s not a surprise to see him now as the only active NBA player to become a billionaire while still playing:

“Since being drafted in 2003, James has earned $330 million in playing salary—net of recent escrow deductions—and another $700 million off the court from endorsements, merchandise, licensing and his media business. Current endorsement partners AT&T, Beats, Blaze Pizza, GMC, Nike, PepsiCo, Rimowa and Walmart help James earn more than $100 million annually. The latest addition is Epic Games, where Fortnite players will have access to a pair of James-themed outfits or “skins.” James is the first player in a U.S. team sport to hit the three-comma club,” reported Kurt Badenhausen of Sportico

LeBron is perhaps Nike’s biggest figure and it’s not a secret that he’s been quite the successful investor and businessman, even holding a minority stake in Liverpool FC.

James has also made the most of his money, as he’s made a difference thanks to his I Promise school in Ohio that offers free tuition and multiple perks to all from within the community, while also advocating for social justice and constantly making donations to minorities.

Then again, as it has also happened in his basketball career, James has been heavily criticized over his silence on Hong Kong and the protests, as some people believe that he’s been a bit of a hypocrite in that regard.

While that’s not for us to say or discuss, what’s pretty clear is that James has a great mind for business and that whatever he’s doing is definitely working.
