Breaking: Phoenix Suns Have Acquired Chris Paul From Oklahoma City Thunder

2 Min Read

The Phoenix Suns have found the star to accompany Devin Booker as the leader of the team. 35-year-old All-Star point guard Chris Paul is heading to Arizona to join the Suns after a couple of weeks surrounded by rumors about his future in the league. CP3 finished a season where he took the Oklahoma City Thunder to reach the 5th spot in the stacked Western Conference when nobody believed in them.

He showed he can still be valuable in the league and now the Suns are landing him in a great deal. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN broke the news, explaining that the Suns’ owner is bringing Paul to the team to be the leader of the team alongside Devin Booker and see if they can compete with Phoenix.

Paul had a terrific 2019/20 season where he led his team to compete, taking the Houston Rockets to a 7th game in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Now he will try to emulate or surpass that with the Suns alongside one of the best shooters in the league in Booker. Phoenix has potential and a leader like Paul is what they need to take the next step in the West.
