Brian Scalabrine Says Giannis Antetokounmpo Should Form Big 3 With Luka Doncic And Kristaps Porzingis

2 Min Read

With the future of Giannis Antetokounmpo looming, all eyes are on the Bucks this season. Their success will have an impact on his decision next summer, and any potential move on his part is sure to make waves throughout the league.

As his status grows increasingly uncertain, chatter about a possible next destination for the Greek Freak has only risen with the Warriors, Knicks, and Heat emerging as players in these rumors.

One of the most recent scenarios (and perhaps the most interesting of all) involves a partnership in Dallas between Giannis, Luka Doncic, and Kristaps Porzingis.

(per Brian Scalabrine on K&C Masterpiece)

“If Giannis does leaving Milwaukee, I would 100% go to Dallas over going to Miami. With Giannis, KP, & Luka, you’re not talking about maybe winning a championship. You’re talking about winning not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 and that kind of stuff.”

Indeed, a big three of Luke, Kristaps, and Giannis would be the stuff of legends. They’d be nearly unstoppable on offense and almost surely in the Championship conversation for years to come.

Still, the possibility of him actually going there remains a long-shot. It would be a struggle for Dallas to make that work financially and Giannis has shown no promise of even wanting out of Milwaukee, even if they fail to win a title in the next two years.

We’ll have to leave this stuff to our imagination — at least until the summer of 2021.
