Bronny James hasn’t played a minute of college basketball yet. In fact, he hasn’t even committed to a school despite being over halfway done with his senior year.

Still, despite some looming decisions, Bronny is believed to be the most valuable college player on the planet.

In On3 NIL’s recent list of athlete valuations, Bronny came in first with a “net worth” of $7.5 million based on his ‘NIL’ (name, image, and likeness).

Social media followers: 12.5 million

Bronny James has yet to even announce where he’ll be playing college basketball, but the oldest son of NBA superstar LeBron James has already emerged as an NIL star. The four-star combo guard in the 2023 recruiting class has signed notable agreements with Beats by Dre, Nike and PSD Underwear. In a commercial for Beats by Dre, he starred alongside his father, who signed with the brand in 2008 as the company’s first athlete brand ambassador. He recently also signed with Klutch Sports, founded by LeBron James’ longtime friend and sports agent Rich Paul, for NIL representation. While he’s yet to make his commitment, he told On3’s Joe Tipton that Ohio State, Oregon and USC are all options, but he’s still wide open.

Bronny is not the top college prospect in the nation, but his name carries a lot of weight in the sports world. As the firstborn son to LeBron James and the bearer of his name, Bronny’s got the whole basketball world watching his every move, and his latest milestone has him going down the same path as his father.

Bronny Celebrates After Being Named To McDonald’s All-American Team

Bronny has yet to commit to a college or any other team post-graduation, but his recent milestone is a good sign of his upward trajectory.

The McDonald’s All-American Game is the most prestigious high school basketball honor for any high school senior, and the 2023 game will feature a pair of legacy kids: Bronny James and D.J. Wagner. LeBron James played in the game in 2003 and his son, Bronny, was one of the 24 players announced Tuesday to participate in the game this year.

The 2023 McDonald’s All-American Game will take place in Houston, with the girls game airing on March 28 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and the boys game will immediately follow on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET.

Bronny still has a lot to prove in the world of basketball, but his young career is off to a great start already as he prepares to enter the next chapter.

One can only imagine how much pressure he’s been feeling all these years, knowing what kind of shoes he has to fill and the kind of expectations his name brings.

Fortunately, he seems to be more than capable of handling the noise.
