The Boston Celtics responded admirably with their season on the line, beating the Miami Heat 116-99 on the road in Game 4 to avoid losing via a sweep to the eighth seed.

Jayson Tatum showed up when needed for Boston, scoring 34 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jimmy Butler couldn’t find the efficiency with which he’s been playing this postseason, scoring 29 points on 42.9% shooting. Fans reacted to the series heading to Boston for Game 5.

Some fans believe if the Celtics can match Miami’s heart, they can rely on their talent to pull this series win off.

Fans joked at how angry Lakers fans will be seeing that they got swept but Boston didn’t.

Heat fans are worried that the Celtics have gotten a window of opportunity, something players from Boston were warning Miami about.

Celtics fans mocked the media narrative around the series and insulted Miami in the same way Boston has been.

The arrogance of Celtics fans for a team full of players that are reportedly pretending to like each other didn’t go over well on Twitter.

Jayson Tatum finally had a statement series performance in Game 4.

Tatum dropped 51 points in his last elimination game and has now had another strong performance with his season on the line.

Bam Adebayo disappointed with just 10 points on the night, but Gabe Vincent had 17 and Caleb Martin had 16. It wasn’t enough, as Boston had six players scoring in double-digits, including Grant Williams, who has been mocked heavily by the Heat this series.

This game was just a result of the Heat getting out-talented by Boston, an outcome many people expected at the start of the series before Miami used their cohesion and continuity to frustrate the Celtics despite their ‘talented’ roster.

Boston Trying To Shock The World

We have never seen a successful 3-0 comeback, but we have seen successful 3-1 comebacks in the past. The Celtics were extremely confident in their ability to overcome a 3-0 deficit, so Miami will be feeling a little uncertain heading back to Boston for Game 5 of the series.

If the series is tied up 3-2 after Game 5, the Heat will be in serious danger. Even after Joe Mazzulla admitted he had lost the roster, it seems he made a good enough comeback to win them back and have them play with pace and aggression the entire night. They need this desperation and effort to come through in every game if they want to return to the NBA Finals.
