LeBron James surprised everybody when he took over Bryce James’ team at Nike’s Peach Jam tournament. The King was drawing up some plays for Strive For Greatness.

This was met with good eyes by a lot of people who know James has a high basketball IQ. However, not everybody appreciated this and one coach took to Twitter to show their unhappiness with what James was doing.

“I’m Guna take a wild guess and say @KingJames does not have his @usabasketball Gold license! How is he able to coach on the sidelines? Do we not hold EVERYONE to the same standard? Or are some people just above ur guidelines ?????” Coach John Roby tweeted on Thursday.

It’s unclear if James has ever gotten his gold license or if he even applied to get one of those. It’s also unknown if he’ll get some sort of punishment for doing this or if he pulls his gold license and ends this situation.

James has been supporting his kids since always, and sometimes he’s made some decisions mid-game that didn’t work well for his sons. A couple of years ago, he urged Bronny James to get open to try to make a game-winning shot, but the now USC prospect missed the bucket.

He’s been more and more involved in his kids’ development, and nobody can change that. Of course, if he broke some rule, he should get punished, but that won’t prevent James from supporting his kids.

LeBron James And Rajon Rondo Teamed Up To Coach Bryce’s Team

Everybody was in awe when he teamed up with Rajon Rondo to coach Bryce’s team. They were drawing some plays up for the team, which could get the win in the end.

Strive For Greatness lost the game, 72-67, against the Florida Rebels in the 16-year-old division. They won their first game when up to eight NBA scouts went to see Bryce doing his thing.

James and co. need to bounce back in the next game, and hopefully, the King will be there supporting them.
