Buck star Damian Lillard had a brief exchange with TMZ today, where he revealed the latest update on his standing with iconic rapper GloRilla. After she was caught shooting her shot at the NBA guard last month, Lillard confirmed that he saw the message and gave her a direct shout to the cameras.

Lillard didn’t have a whole lot to say, but he couldn’t help but smile as paparazzi mentioned the legendary rap star, GlorRilla, who challenged any of his potential lovers to fight for his affection. “Who n***a dis is? Cuz I want him,” she wrote on X.

What she probably doesn’t know is that Lillard is single right now due to an ongoing divorce with his estranged partner. So while Lillard is technically on the market, he may not really be available right now given that he’s still thick in the weeds of a brutal martial fallout.

Unfortunately for Lillard, this storyline with GloRilla is probably one of the better things that’s happened to him and the Bucks this season. On the court, things haven’t worked out too great with Giannis Antetokounmpo and there are some serious questions about what exactly their ceiling is after cycling through two coaches in the span of a few months.

Through 58 games this season, the Bucks have been mediocre at best and Lillard has been a shell of himself with averages of 24.4 points, 6.7 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game on 42.3% shooting. Behind the scenes, players have been expressing massive frustration with the state of their collective play and they are still looking for answers on how to stop the bleeding

What Happened With Damian Lillard?

While Dame may have been all smiles in the video, the situation has been rough for him recently. As he tries to adjust to his new team and new city, he’s dealing with a custody battle with his young children that threatens to rip the entire family apart.

While the details behind his breakup are still murky, we know that it hasn’t been easy for Lillard he’s described the process as lonely. To pack up and move to a brand new city in the face of it all has only made it harder for the All-NBA guard and it’s reflected through his mediocre play on the court.

Worse still, at 33 years old, Damian is running out of time to pull himself together. With this season nearly over, it’ll be impossible to redeem himself until the playoffs begin and most fans have doubts that the Bucks can beat all of the top teams in the East. If he can’t find his rhythm soon, he may lose his best chance of ever winning a championship.

Needless to say, Damian Lillard can use some good fortune right now and GloRilla seems more than happy to provide.
