Damian Lillard Made A Promise 7 Months Ago: “What You About To See Me Do, You Ain’t Ever Seen In Your Live. We Making These Playoffs.”

2 Min Read

I’d be lying if I said Damian Lillard and his Portland Trail Blazers weren’t major underdogs in the fight for the 2020 title. Even with as deep and talented as they are, nobody is really giving them a chance to beat L.A. in the first round.

But so long as the Blazers have Damian Lillard, they have a chance to make some noise in the NBA.

In fact, even when things were at their worst, Dame never lost faith that he would lead his team to the promised land.

Seven months ago, he told Blazers rookie Nassir Little that Portland would make the postseason — and he has followed through on it with some amazing performances.

Of course, Dame still has a lot of work ahead of him. If he wants to prove the doubters wrong, he’ll have to come up big once again in this first-round battle against the Lakers.

And, however unlikely it may seem, you should never count Dame out. He has always stepped up when his team has needed him to and has never been afraid of the big moment. It will be awesome to see what he can bring to the table this postseason.
