Damian Lillard On Los Angeles Lakers: ‘We Can Beat These Motherf—–s’

2 Min Read

Damian Lillard finished a part of his job, taking the Portland Trail Blazers to the 2020 NBA playoffs after a victory over Ja Morant and his Memphis Grizzlies, one of the biggest surprises in the league this season. Now, they’re ready to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the postseason and Dame is confident that the can beat anybody.

Following Saturday’s win over the Grizzlies in a hard-fought 126-122 victory, Lillard showed his confidence ahead of the next challenge, claiming they can beat anybody, including the 1st seed in the West, the Los Angeles Lakers.

“I mean, I think the reason why we competed so hard, the reason why we fought so hard to get into the playoffs is because we feel like we’re capable of doing anything. We can beat anybody, so now we just gotta get rested and get ready for the next thing. You know our work is just beginning,” Dame said after the game.

They’ve overcome a lot and now the obstacle will be huge, but they have played great basketball since the restart, which is why so many people believe they have a good chance to upset the Lakers and make it to the second round. We still have to wait and see how things will end up but there is no doubt that the Lakers and Blazers will give us a great series in the first round.
