Damian Lillard Shouts NSFW Message After 61-Point Performance In Win Over Mavs

2 Min Read

Things are working out for the Blazers. After a monstrous 61-point performance and a hard-fought back-and-forth game, Portland was able to pull away with the much-needed victory.

After Memphis’ loss today, it also puts them in possession of the West’s eighth and final spot.

Obviously, it’s not over yet, and they’ll have to win their game on Thursday to guarantee their ticket to the postseason. But after everything they’ve been through, and all the trash talk that has ensued about Dame and his team, not even Lillard could help but let his emotions out.

At the final buzzer, he turned to the cameras to tell the world to put some respect on his name…

Lillard is the first Blazers player ever to score 50 points in back-to-back games — and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The Blazers are 5-2 since entering the bubble, right as the Grizzlies have gone 1-6. With their players healthy, and Lillard going off, it should be no surprise that they are currently in the lead for that final West playoff spot.

But the job isn’t done yet, and unless the Blazers win on Thursday, this cinderella story may be ending early. Obviously, it will be interesting to watch it all play out…
