Damian Lillard’s Honest Reaction On Draymond Green Showing Him How To Spray The Champagne: “This Is What It Looks Like When You Haven’t Won A Championship.”

Damian Lillard is one of the best players in the world. For some, he’s already outgrown his team and should try and force his way to a championship contender. For others, that loyalty makes him even greater.

Whatever is the case, the hard truth is that Lillard hasn’t found much success in the playoffs. He’s never made it to the NBA Finals, let alone won an NBA Championship.

That’s why he had to look up for an expert’s helping hand when Team USA celebrated the gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, as Draymond Green had to show him how to spray champagne properly:

“This is what it looks like when you haven’t won a championship. I haven’t won yet & Draymond has won 3 championships… After we won the gold everybody is spraying champagne, I don’t have much experience at it so I needed the champ to assist me,” Lillard jokingly admitted.

Green sure knows a thing or two about spraying champagne, as he’s won the NBA Championship three times with the Golden State Warriors. So, it never hurts to seek friendly advice.

It’s also worth noting that Lillard and Green hold a close relationship even before the Olympics, so chances are that he’s tried to pick his brains to convince him to go back home and play for the Golden State Warriors.

Other reports state that the Blazers would love to have Draymond Green on their ranks, although that seems pretty unlikely.

Hopefully, it won’t be long before Lillard has another opportunity to showcase his newly-learned champagne-spraying skills. He’s just too good not to win an NBA Championship.

But hey, at least it’s glad to know that he’s taking it with humor after enduring several tough months of frustration and speculation about his future.
