Dennis Schroder has been dazzling during the EuroBasket, but even in the NBA, he is viewed as a solid scoring guard that thrives in a complementary offensive role. He has a lot of experience in the league and is a well-rounded player that can provide ballhandling, playmaking, and perimeter defense.

There is no doubt that Dennis Schroder is useful to a contending team. He knows how to thrive when getting fewer touches but also has the talent and ability to swing a game in his team’s favor with his scoring.

Dennis Schroder Returns To The Los Angeles Lakers

Dennis Schroder wasn’t able to find a team earlier in free agency, but it seems as though that has changed. Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that Dennis Schroder will be signing a one-year, $2.64 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

There is no doubt that Dennis Schroder will be a useful offensive player for the Lakers. He makes an impact, no matter if he’s coming off the bench or starting. His scoring, in particular, could help the team’s bench unit.

It remains to be seen if the Los Angeles Lakers end up making any other moves. They have frequently been mentioned in trade rumors, and it’s no secret that the team is trying to move on from point guard Russell Westbrook.

Hopefully, we see the Los Angeles Lakers field a competitive squad next season. They still have the star power to win a title, but the key was always about the supporting cast. With Dennis Schroder’s addition, it is likely that they will be a better team.
