“Space Jam: A New Legacy” is set to hit the theaters next July 16, and as the days go by, we are discovering new details about the movie and what it’ll bring to the fans. It’s been over two decades since the first movie came out, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James promises to deliver this summer.

Michael Jordan made something great 25 years ago when he starred in a very curious movie with the Looney Tunes. After making some commercials with Nike, His Airness decided to make a whole movie alongside Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and co.

That said, fans have wondered if MJ will make an appearance in the new movie. Finally, one of the film actors said that the 6x NBA champion will appear but leaving a cryptic message about what Jordan we will see on the big screen. During a recent interview, Don Cheadle revealed (9:01):

“Michael Jordan is in the movie…But not in the way that you expect him to be,” the actor said.

What could this mean? We don’t know that. That’s something we’ll discover in a couple of months when we finally see LeBron James teaming up with the Looney Tunes to go against an intriguing antagonist, played by Cheadle.

The movie trailer was released last month, and the hype for it went through the roof after that. This could be the event of the summer, and NBA fans can’t wait to see what’s going to happen with LeBron, his son and the rest of the Tune Squad.
