Rajon Rondo is ready to start his third stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, one year after he won the NBA championship with the team in the infamous Orlando bubble.

The player had a very entertaining year since he left the purple and gold, going full circle and returning to the 17-time NBA champions after doing whatever he wanted in the association.

Following his return to the Lakers, plenty of fans noticed that he made money and messed with the team’s biggest rival, only to return to the same place in less than one year. Rondo played his cards very well and now is set to win another championship with the Lakers.

After NBA memes pointed out all the things that Rajon did in the last 12 months, fans had different things to say. Some credited him for ‘destroying’ the Los Angeles Clippers from inside while making money.

Rajon Rondo left the Lakers, made $15M, screwed the Clippers over and had them trade Lou Williams and 2 second rounders only to come back to the Lakers on a minimum salary 😳 pic.twitter.com/YoIsywvSMO

The Lakers are an experienced team, and Rondo is one of their youngest players. At 35, he’s still valued in Los Angeles. He played a key role in their 2020 championship and will try to do the same next season.

Los Angeles created a superteam with Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis. Added to veterans like Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza, and Rondo, this team is poised to make a lot of noise in the West and reclaim their throne as NBA champions.
