The 2022 NBA Finals are in full flow, with the best-of-seven series tied at 2-2. So far, the Finals have been great, and fans can’t predict which way it will go once the dust settles.

Despite going toe-to-toe with the Boston Celtics in every game, one player has been absent for the Golden State Warriors. Yes, we are talking about none other than former DPOY winner Draymond Green.

Green has been having an abysmal series so far. It is evident from the fact that Green currently has more fouls than points in the NBA Finals. Many believe if he were playing up to the mark, the series would be tilted in favor of the Warriors.

But regardless of his lackluster performance in the NBA Finals, Green never leaves a chance to hit back at his opponents. Over the last two games, there seems to be some sort of hatred developing between the Celtics fans and Green.

Green pointed out that he is living rent free in the heads of Celtics fans. In response to that, the Warriors forward has been showered with boos from fans at the TD Garden. Now, Green has made another comment that would certainly not sit well with Boston fans.

Via NBC Sports:

“They’re loud. They’re pretty loud. They’re very loud. A little obnoxious. But Cleveland fans used to be obnoxious too. Now, I think these people, they take the cake. But yeah, it’s loud. I mean, you’re trying to win a championship. It should be loud. The fans should be into it. And so I respect it and after the series I’ll appreciate it. But for now, you know what it is with them.”

It was clear that he was referring to the time when Green and the Warriors used to face the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

Due to the fact that the Dubs ended up winning three out of their four matchups in the NBA Finals, it was enough to silence the Cavs’ fans. But will that turn out to be the case with the Celtics fans as well? We will find out in the coming days.
