Draymond Green On Joel Embiid: “Joel Needs To Do Himself A Favor. He’s Posting Up At Three Point Line. There Is No One In The League That Can Stop Joel From Getting Any Position He Wants.”

Draymond Green has been very active in his new facet. The 3x NBA champion has found a new passion in recent weeks after he joined TNT’s ‘The Arena.’ He’s been giving his takes on NBA-related matters and recently he gave a piece of advice to one of the best centers in the game, Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid.

JoJo hasn’t had the best season this year, just like his team, and his game has also suffered. He’s focused on the wrong side of his game and Green has urged him to focus on his strengths and use them to his advantage. Embiid needs it, his team needs it and now more than before since the playoffs are just around the corner.

“Joel needs to do himself a favor. He’s posting up at three-point line. There is no one in the league that can stop Joel from getting any position he wants. Every time he shoots a jump shot, he’s bailing his defender out,” Green said.

That’s something that has been done a lot in the past, but it’s still worth noting. If the Sixers had shooters, Embiid’s job would be a lot easy and defenders would have a hard time guarding him. This season has been full of ups and downs for the center and his teams and nobody knows what is going to happen in the offseason. There were rumors of a possible split of Embiid and Ben Simmons but nothing is certain now.

The Cameroonian center has everything to be the best in his position, but the players he has around must help him and take the pressure off his shoulders and let him do his thing. He’s an elite player but there is no doubt he can be a lot better than he is.
