• Draymond Green and Jordan Poole can finally be open rivals on separate teams
• The NBA 2K24 trailer made a nod to their rivalry by showing Poole call an ISO on Draymond
• A fan edited that trailer into Green beating Poole up with WWE-style moves
The Draymond Green and Jordan Poole rivalry will finally start playing out on the court. NBA 2K24 used that to beef up their trailer, putting in a shot of Poole calling for an ISO on Green. However, a fan has taken that bit from the trailer and edited it into a fight where Draymond beats up Poole with pro wrestling moves.
What on God’s green earth 😭

This is just a humorous extension of the history between the pair, as Green knocked Poole out during last year’s training camp, hurting morale and chemistry in the locker room for the entire season. It led to the team being average all year long and being eliminated in the second round at the hands of their rivals, the Lakers.
Draymond Green And Jordan Poole Face Each Other Twice Next Season
With Poole being traded to the Washington Wizards in the summer, it means that Green and Poole will now be playing in different conferences. This means the pair will face off only twice over the season unless they meet in the NBA Cup or the NBA Finals, with the latter being extremely unlikely.
The first matchup will take place on 22 December, with the Warriors hosting the Wizards. This will be Poole’s homecoming, as he will look to make an impression. His Wizards will host the Warriors on 27 February 2024.
Poole ultimately did disappoint on the court during the playoffs, but he will feel justified in thinking he was pushed out of the team by Draymond. It is a revenge matchup in every sense of the word, as Poole will be the lead ball-handler for Washington and look to make a difference in these matchups, probably even calling an ISO on Green at some point.
