When Kevin Durant was a part of the Golden State Warriors superteam, he played three seasons alongside Draymond Green. Many believe that the real reason why KD left the Warriors was also Draymond.
One of those reasons is the fact that Green is someone who is very vocal. This has helped Green in becoming a leader for the Warriors over the years. So when it comes to leadership, Draymond certainly knows a thing or two.
In a recent episode of his podcast, Green invited veteran NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith to it. During the episode, the topic of whether Durant is a natural born leader or not.

“Everybody is just not a natural born leader, and again I’m not taking no shot at K. But he himself has said that’s not kind of my strong suit. Why is his basketball game judged based off of that? And he himself has said that I’m not strong there.”
Usually, when a player of Kevin Durant’s caliber is on a team, everyone naturally expects them to be a leader. But at the end of the day, Durant’s primary job is to play basketball. He is certainly great at doing that and has proven that over the course of his career.
