Draymond Green Yells At Kevin Durant For Playing Poor Defense, And He Responds In The Next Play

2 Min Read

Draymond Green and Kevin Durant once again starred in a curious moment during a basketball game. The talented duo has an extensive history together. They reunited in Tokyo, helping Team USA win the gold medal after a magical Olympic tournament.

They beat France in the final, 87-82, with Durant going off with 29 points and six rebounds. The Brooklyn Nets superstar was on a mission after losing the first game of the competition against the same rival. This time, though, he left no chance for Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert, and co.

However, that doesn’t mean KD had a perfect game. In fact, Draymond needed to remind him that they all have to play defense, not just offense. After KD didn’t contest a 3-pointer, Draymond yelled at him, calling him out for his poor defense.

This definitely helped KD as he had a different approach in the next play. He contested a three-pointer later, which resulted in an airball and Draymond congratulating his former Warriors teammate.

These two are great at pushing each other. Although sometimes things can get out of control, as it happened in 2018 when Draymond called Durant a ‘b*tch,’ starring in one of the most shocking and controversial NBA moments in recent history.

This time, things weren’t that dramatic. They were on the same page, and this ultimately led Team USA to the win, getting their four consecutive Olympic gold medal with the victory over France.

They’ve repeatedly stated that they’re brothers and nothing can change that, no matter how hard people try to push narratives about Durant’s animosity towards Green.
