Dwight Howard has issued a statement through his lawyer after being accused of sexual assault by a man named Stephen Harper, who alleged that Howard forced him to have a threesome with another person and forcefully administered and received oral sex from Harper. Howard’s lawyer claims everything that happened was consensual.

“The three agreed to touch one another and to engage in consensual sexual activity.”

In the story broken by RadarOnline.com, they also explained the specifics of what exactly Howard has been accused of. The former NBA Champion allegedly met Harper on Instagram in July 2021 and invited him to his home for some ‘freaky’ stuff.

“Defendant stood up (towering over Mr. Harper), grabbed Mr. Harper by the thighs, forcibly removed Mr. Harper’s underwear, held Mr. Harper down, and performed nonconsensual oral sex on Mr. Harper,” the suit read. “Mr. Harper was in fear of imminent bodily harm when he was pinned down and forced to remain in place while Defendant continued to sexually assault him.”

At his home, Howard had a man dressed as a woman called ‘Kitty’ as he wanted to have a threesome with Kitty and Harper, something Harper wasn’t comfortable with. Despite that, Howard made Kitty perform sexual acts on him with Harper watching, eventually coercing Harper to join. Howard even forced Harper to be dropped home by Kitty ultimately, with the pair not letting him leave prior to the end of everything.

Howard maintains that all the interactions that evening were consensual but Harper clearly disagrees. The legal battle here will be interesting, as the lines of consent seem to have been heavily blurred. At this time, it looks unlikely that Howard will find an NBA team this season with these reports coming out.

The center who last played for the Lakers in 2021 was in the running for a contract with the Golden State Warriors, something he ultimately didn’t receive. There were rumors the Grizzlies could have possibly signed him as an option at center, but it looks like they’ll steer clear of this situation, especially with the legal ramifications Howard may have to face.

Howard recently settled a lawsuit for unpaid wages with two women he hired to care for a giant snake and another dispute with an ex-butler, who reportedly stole a $250,000 ring. He’s still facing a lawsuit from a Georgia resident who claims to have gotten injured after running into Howard’s car on the road.
