Chris Paul is one of the most well-respected players and point guards over the last decade. Paul has long been known as an elite playmaker, dating back to his Hornets days. Chris Paul isn’t in his peak anymore: that was probably during his time with the Lob City Clippers. However, Chris Paul had a renaissance last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, leading them to the playoffs against all odds. Now on a great team with two rising stars in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. Both can help him carry the offensive scoring load, while Chris Paul can focus on running the offense and setting teammates up with easy baskets.
One of the people that has praised Chris Paul this season is his longtime friend Dwyane Wade. Wade pointed out that Chris Paul still has a lot left. The Phoenix Suns are finally on track to make the playoffs this season, and a huge part of that is Paul’s influence.
Let’s not sleep on 35 year old @CP3 !! My guy got a lot of juice in the tank and he’s doing it every night.

Despite Chris Paul entering the twilight of his career, he can still contribute heavily to a winning team. Dwyane Wade is correct that even though he is 35, we shouldn’t sleep on Paul. Paul’s last All-Star selection was just last season, and in Phoenix he brings his winning pedigree to a talented roster. Chris Paul’s leadership and ability to be clutch has been beneficial for the Suns, and hopefully, Paul can continue to defy Father Time and continue putting up elite performances night in and night out.
