The Golden State Warriors vs. Milwaukee Bucks game could have been an NBA Finals preview if the Warriors had been a top team this season. However, all the Golden State struggles came to a head in a loss against the Milwaukee Bucks.

As the Warriors were blown out by the 2021 Champions, Draymond Green seemed to get into an intense spat with a courtside fan that ended with Green insisting that the officials eject him. Allegedly, the fan threatened Draymond’s life and the referees promptly kicked him out.

The fan, massive Bucks supporter Mike Shane, said that he never threatened Draymond’s life, as Draymond has claimed, and revealed what he had actually said.

“I was speaking up for the city of Milwaukee,” the R&B singer said. “Basically telling him, like, we’re giving you a pass. We haven’t forgotten about what you did — a big bully — and we’re giving you a pass. We forgive you.”

“There was two police officers who were actually right there,” Shane added. “There was a police officer and the league security who came back there and vouched for me. They were right there and said I didn’t use any profanity, I didn’t say anything malicious.” (h/t TMZ)

Shane claiming the Bucks gave him a refund and future tickets mean that he had to have been cleared, as fans usually get arena bans in these situations.

Sensitive Topics Causing Massive Reactions?

There is no way to confirm what was actually said, as it’s Mike Shane’s word against Draymond Green’s. The Bucks wouldn’t be giving a fan who threatened the life of someone else refunds and future seats, so he might not have said what Green thought he said.

If the fan did comment about Jordan Poole, that may have generated this reaction. In a crowded arena, while a game is going on, messages can be misconstrued. Maybe Green thought the guy was threatening him on behalf of Milwaukee? It’s a stretch, but this has become an unnecessarily messy situation that everyone should move on from now.
