Canadian rapper Drake, like many of his colleagues, is an avid fan of basketball. In this case, the global icon has been very close to the NBA since he’s friends with big names like LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.

Moreover, he’s the global ambassador of the Toronto Raptors, the team he defended so fiercely during the 2019 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. Drake’s links with the league are common knowledge, and he often tries to get better at the game, even if it is to play pickup matches.

A couple of years ago, he even suited up for the University of Kentucky, earning a lot of jokes in the process. He was recently spotted air balling shots during a pickup game against fellow rapper Tory Lanez, struggling to get past him, once again getting trolled for his performance

It seems like Drake had enough of that and went to train with famous shooting coach ‘Lethal Shooter.’ The ‘Way 2 Sexy’ singer appeared on a video shooting jumpers, showing a much-improved jump shot.

His jumper was smooth and he constantly sank them, demonstrating he’s getting better at it. Some fans even joked that he could make it to the league and replace controversial players Kyrie Irving or Ben Simmons.

Drizzy is very passionate about the game and this is big proof of that. The artist even had a 3-point competition with Stephen Curry in September, so you know this man is very confident in himself and isn’t scared of challenging anybody.

With his improved jump shot, he could give Steph, Klay Thompson and more players a run for their money.
