Longevity, skill, and clutchness, all matter in basketball and the NBA, these are some of the major metrics players are judged on. But basketball culture is unique in a way that it also rewards those that can make awe-inspiring, cool, and bada** plays.

Many players in the league have done a lot of this, Allen Iverson, Michael Jordan, Kevin Garnett, Stephen Curry, and a lot of superstars have provided epic moments in their careers. NBA fans on Reddit recently discussed which the most bada** moment was.

One fan posted the question on Reddit, mentioning Michael Jordan dropping six three-pointers in one half against Clyde Drexler to show him up as his pick for the question.

A lot of moments were mentioned by fans in the comments in reply to the post. One of the fans chose the time Larry Bird won the three-point contest without taking his warm-up jacket off

Jimmy Butler’s time with the Minnesota Timberwolves ended in infamy when he reportedly beat the first team with a bunch of players off the bench. It’s no surprise that one fan picked that as their winner.

While a lot of these moments happened quite a while ago, one NBA fan picked a modern classic. During the 2022 NBA playoffs, Luka Doncic called out the Suns for frontrunning when they led the series 3-2. He then backed it up as the Mavs won it in seven games. A certified bada** moment.

There were too many cool moments mentioned to really chronicle all of them, but the last one that stands out from a fan is Allen Iverson stepping over Tyronn Lue. That’s as cold as a moment can get.

It’s Hard To Pick A Conclusive Winner In This Discussion

Different NBA moments can feel different based on the perspective of who is watching. It’s hard to pick one moment as the most bada** one in NBA history. My entry into this contest would be Scottie Pippen putting Patrick Ewing on a poster and then standing over him

What makes basketball such a unique experience is the ability that superstars have to inject their personalities into the game. It leads to some unforgettable moments and creates an incredible spectacle for the fans that are watching. The best thing that can be said about the NBA is that it would be impossible to pick just one moment as the most bada** one of all time.
