LeBron James’ reputation as one of the best players of not only this generation but of all time has certainly been earned through a lot of hard work over the years. Even at the age of 37-years-old James is only adding more to his already phenomenal resume.

Although James has earned all of his amazing reputations, sometimes the King has been seen to take advantage of it. Not that he has done anything unfair to other players, but if you have been following LeBron James’ career, then you might be aware of what we are referring to his conversations with the refs.

More often than not, if something goes in the other direction for a team where James is on the court, he is the first one to give the refs an earful. Despite that habit, there is hardly a time when James is handed a technical foul.

On the other hand, if other players try to do the same, they get a technical foul. One might wonder if the league is biased towards the King? Well, according to former NBA official Danny Crawford, that is not the reason at all.

In an interview with Fox Sports’ Melissa Rohlin, Crawford revealed the reason why James doesn’t get many technical fouls in his career. He said:

Via Fox Sports:

“That lets you know how respectful he is. He doesn’t go overboard in trying to prove that he’s right. There’s nothing nasty about what he says.”

Crawford gave this answer in response to Rohlin’s question about why James has 0 technical fouls this season. The former NBA official gave a befitting reply to the question and it will certainly be well received by the fans.

While James may not have received any technical fouls, the team’s performance could still be better this season. In fact, even after winning the close game against the New York Knicks, LeBron gave a message to his teammates.

After winning the game against the Knicks, fans will hope that it will give birth to a winning streak. Otherwise, the Lakers might need to take part in the play-in tournament and their hopes of winning the 2022 NBA Championship will only get trimmed further.
