Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic are the last two men to have won the MVP award but the two couldn’t be further apart in terms of their physique.

Giannis is a supreme athlete while Jokic is his polar opposite and Antetokounmpo brutally roasted the Serbian for it on Monday.

“Joker, how are you going to make it through the finals when you look like you can barely make it through a Burger King drive-thru?”

To be fair to Jokic, he changed his lifestyle and is now in the best shape he has ever been in during his NBA career. It is what has put him in a prime position to become the first man since Larry Bird to win 3 MVP awards in a row as the Serbian is averaging an impressive 24.8 PPG, 11.7 RPG, and 10.0 APG this season.

He is the clear frontrunner for the award and his head coach Michael Malone also made a strong case for Jokic to win it, after his 40-point triple-double against the Los Angeles Clippers. Giannis, depending on when he gets back from his injury, could end up being his biggest challenger, as the Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA at the moment.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Was A Guest On “The Daily Show”

As for why Giannis made that joke, he was simply reading from the prompter during an appearance on “The Daily Show.” He made it clear right after this joke that he loves Jokic’s game before the host Hasan Minhaj cut him off for ruining the fun.

Giannis then made a brutal joke about Kevin Durant joining superteams but again made it clear afterward that he had a lot of respect for Durant. Minhaj also had a joke lined up on LeBron James, but Antetokounmpo didn’t say it and instead started praising LeBron.

Giannis is just not the kind of guy who is comfortable taking these kinds of shots at his rivals. He has always been very respectful towards most of them and it was hilarious to see him complimenting them after every joke.
