The Los Angeles Lakers have been in great form since the NBA All-Star break. The new-look roster continued winning even against the highly-rated Dallas Mavericks.

LeBron James and the Lakers overcame a 27-point deficit to register their third consecutive victory of the season. Speaking of the win, the Lakers' new acquisition Jarred Vanderbilt played a crucial role in the win. Following the game, he received the honor of getting a special handshake from James.

In the Lakers' 111-108 win, Vanderbilt contributed 15 points , 17 rebounds, and 1 assist. Keeping that in mind, he certainly deserved a handshake from James, who Vanderbilt now calls "LeHandshake."

It's a clear wordplay around LeBron's name. This isn't the first time someone has done that to get a hilarious joke about James' first name.

LeBron James' Injury Could Spell Trouble For The Los Angeles Lakers

It was good to see a few other players getting the spotlight apart from James after the Lakers' 111-108 victory over the Mavericks. But at the end of the day, LeBron is the cornerstone player of the team.

Even at 38 years old, he is a great player and has the ability to change the game all by himself. LeBron apparently heard a pop and went to the ground after getting injured during the game against the Mavericks.

A recent report suggested that James could miss an extended period of time due to the injury. Considering this is the prime time for the Lakers to try and win a couple of more games to genuinely have a shot at advancing to the postseason.

Unfortunately, LeBron James is not available for the team in the next few weeks, as per the report. If that truly turns out to be true, this is a piece of worry for the Purple and Gold fans.
