Before winning the 2021 NBA Championship, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks were somewhat stuck in a loop. They would have a great regular season but come playoff time, the Bucks would fail to get over the hurdle.

In 2019, Giannis really started to dominate and even won the first NBA MVP of his career. He was clearly having a career year, and most expected the Bucks to win it all when they reached the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals.

What further raised the hopes of the fans was that the Bucks took a 2-0 lead in the series and looked in a comfortable position against the Toronto Raptors. But after Game 2, it was a Kawhi Leonard show as the Raptors won four straight games and reached the NBA Finals.

After coming so close to qualifying for the NBA Finals once again but ultimately failing to get the job done, ESPN journalist Malika Andrews wrote an article about how Giannis could leave the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Was Angry At Malika Andrews

Losing in the ECF is a hard thing to digest for any NBA player. The Greek Freak must have been angry for missing out on the opportunity. So when Malika Andrews asked him a question about that defeat, he simply decided to walk out of the press conference.

Many believe that Andrews’ story about Giannis’ possible departure from the Bucks must have played a role in that.

It seems like even Khris Middleton wasn’t expecting his teammate to simply get up and leave the press conference. Middleton was quite shocked at Giannis’ actions.

Anyway, speaking of Andrews, in recent days, the 27-year-old has been a constant target for fans after she had a heated debate with Stephen A. Smith. But the biggest reason for fans being pissed off at her is that they have built a notion that she hates black men.

The things have gone so much out of hand that journalist Jason Whitlock has gone as far as saying that Andrews didn’t even deserve her job.

No one believes Malika Andrews earned her job. That's why the tide has turned on her so quickly. ESPN execs sent an unprepared child to sit on the NBA's Iron Throne. You're watching real life House of the Dragons. Gotta marry the right house to survive. https://t.co/A97AODKFBw

No one believes Malika Andrews earned her job. That’s why the tide has turned on her so quickly. ESPN execs sent an unprepared child to sit on the NBA’s Iron Throne. You’re watching real life House of the Dragons. Gotta marry the right house to survive.

Whitlock compared the current situation of Andrews to that of the TV show, House of the Dragon.

Keeping that in mind, old videos of Malika Andrews, such as Giannis walking out on her during the press conference, are resurfacing online. Let’s hope this situation gets sorted as soon as possible, and it doesn’t unnecessarily destroys anyone’s career.
