Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Girlfriend Takes A Shot At Kendrick Perkins Following 2021 NBA Championship

2 Min Read

Giannis Antetokounmpo accomplished the biggest goal of his career on Tuesday night, beating the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to win the championship.

It was a long way for Giannis, but he made it. After all the criticism he received, the Greek player demonstrated he can lead his team to the promised land, proving all the haters wrong.

The 26-year-old always tried to ignore them, but his loved ones kept the receipts and called out the people that criticized Giannis before winning the championship. One of those was Kendrick Perkins, who labeled Antetokounmpo the ‘Robin’ to Khris Middleton’s ‘Batman,’ raising a lot of eyebrows around the league.

Well, Giannis’ girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, never forgot about that. After the Bucks clinched the championship, she sent a big message to Perkins on social media.

“NBA CHAMPION and a 50 piece! CARRY ON…” She tweeted.

Perkins changed his mind on Giannis a lot during the playoff. In the end, he had to pay his respect to the player for all the hard work he put into this championship run.

Even Kostas Antetokounmpo joined the celebration, joking about all the superheroes that became NBA champions on Tuesday night.

This is only the start of the journey for Giannis. He’s only 26 and has a bright future ahead. If people ever find more reasons to criticize him, he’ll be ready to prove them wrong. It’s been a remarkable journey for the Greek Freak, and it’s time to celebrate.
