“Giannis Is Not Better Than LeBron, KD, Curry, Harden, And Kawhi,” Says NBA Fan

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a 2x MVP, 4x All-Star, and reigning NBA Defensive Player of The Year. To many, his skill set, size, and resume are enough to put him amongst the NBA’s elite — even at 26-years-old. To some, he’s right up there with LeBron James for the title of being the NBA’s best player.

Still, the status of Giannis’ placement with other top stars is controversial, at best. On social media, for example, one fan incited discussions by denying the “Greek Freak” was better than LeBron, Durant, Curry, Harden, and Kawhi.

Obviously, Giannis’ size, wingspan, and athleticism give him an enormous advantage against opponents, and it’s something you just can’t teach.

But to say the Greek Freak doesn’t have an elite talent level might be a stretch. He knows how to make plays, set up his teammates, and score against even the league’s best defensive players. Through 14 games this season, he’s averaging 27 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game on 53% shooting.

The Bucks, meanwhile, are near the top of the standings in the East with a record of 9-6.

No doubt, when you talk about basketball’s best players, Giannis has to be included — for what he does on both ends of the floor. As for where, exactly, he ranks compared to other players? We’ll leave that to the fans to argue…
