NBA players tend to date women that often don’t bring good things to their life. This has been a common thing over the years, and as things stand right now, it won’t stop happening soon.

Gilbert Arenas came up with an explanation as to why this happened, happens, and will continue happening. The former Washington Wizards star revealed why it’s easy for NBA players to get involved with strippers and Instagram models instead of other types of women.

“NBA players, they’re very good, and the young are very good at video games. We have all the free time while everybody’s at work. So you’re not married,” Arenas said on the Pat Bev Podcast.

These factors make players see ladies that also have free time or have an easier schedule in comparison to the ones that have 9-to-5 jobs.

“Think about the other sex that’s free between noon and seven o’clock. Strippers. Instagram models that ain’t got s— to do in life. All the sophisticated women at work. They are at work. Why you think we in the malls? Subconsciously, ‘S—, strippers gotta get their outfits pretty soon… Our schedules match up with the worst people, the worst women in life,” he added.

This isn’t unusual in the NBA, and Arenas’ explanation makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Plus, all these women are sexy and gorgeous, which gives them an advantage in winning over players.

Many NBA Players Have Been Involved With Models And Strippers

Right now, we have many cases of players getting close to Instagram models, strippers, and even porn stars. The most recent case happened this week when an OnlyFans model claimed one Miami Heat invited her to have a threesome with a transwoman.

Before that, Zion Williamson made headlines when a porn star called him out on social media. Paul George is married to a former stripper he cheated with on Doc Rivers’ daughter.

Katya Elise Henry, a fitness Instagram model, is together with Tyler Herro. Before the Miami Heat star, she was reportedly with Kyle Kuzma.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve learned about some off-court activities that players have been involved in. A girl claimed that she slept with seven Phoenix Suns players in one night.

Lana Rhoades once claimed she went on a date with an unknown Brooklyn Nets player. She claimed that her baby daddy was an NBA player before calling out Bruce Brown during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

As you can see, it’s not unusual to see NBA players getting involved with these ladies. There’s nothing wrong with that, as they can do whatever they want with their lives. However, these relationships or “situationships” don’t necessarily end up well and can become a toxic cycle for many stars.
